Accessibility Statement

Physical Accessibility: BCCCSC is committed to inclusivity. In our current 'Mobile Mission' phase, we ensure that our community skilling sessions (Soap-making, Tailoring, Bakery) are held in ground-floor, step-free locations to accommodate persons with physical disabilities.

Future Sanctuary: Our 2025–2030 building plan includes specific architectural requirements for ramps, wide doorways, and accessible washrooms to ensure our permanent center in Rukiga is a home for everyone, regardless of mobility.

Declaration of Partial Compliance (Third-Party Content)

While our core content is designed for accessibility, our site is partially compliant due to external third-party tools which are beyond our direct control, such as:

  • Google Maps (used for our location in Rukiga District).

  • Social Media Plugins (WhatsApp and Facebook integration).

  • Donation Widgets (External banking security layers).

Accessibility arrangements in the organization

As we currently operate our "Mobile Mission" from a temporary home-base:

  • Training Sites: We specifically select ground-floor, step-free venues in Mparo for our soap-making, tailoring, and bakery training to accommodate persons with physical disabilities.

  • Future Vision: A core part of our 1.8 Billion UGX 2025–2030 building plan is a fully accessible Vocational Sanctuary featuring ramps, wide access points, and inclusive facilities.
